![]() ![]() Depending on a number of factors (like if you followed directions), SAI might just start working! If you have to restart after installing, do it. After the reboot, you go to install your drivers again (in my case it popped up so i could install it immediately). You go through the uninstall process, and it will tell you to reboot your computer. ![]() Now, let us head over to the uninstall application (the one in your Wacom/Wacom Alternative folder that was installed). Start uninstalling the ones related to your tablet. It will most likely have an icon representing said tablet. You will find something related to your driver (it might say something like 'pen tablet' or 'wacom tablet'). Well.in the case of WinTab and whatever drivers you have for your tablet (Wacom, Uc-Logic, etc.) To begin, remove the USB connecting cord, and let's head over to Control Panel > Hardware & Sound > View Devices and Printers. So, since there is no pressure sensitivity, you have to do a time-wasting thing: uninstall the drivers. At this time, you might have Sai recognizing the tablet pen, but there's no pressure sensitivity (probably). Go to the section "Avoid for bugs of old Wacom tablet driver." and go down to " TabletMouseSimulation". Open it with notepad (right-click > Open With > Notepad) and you will see readable text. Go to the file that is labeled "misc" or "misc.ini". Go to the Folder where SAI is placed (it's with the ".conf" files and other folders. Also, go above to the section "Minimum Pressure" and make sure the "click detection pressure" is set to 0. Switch it to Pen if Mouse is checked off. A thing to do is go to Other > Options > Digitizer Support, and look for the section "Coordinate Mode". Whether you have a regular tablet or pen display tablet, Wacom or Alternative, this may apply to you! You install a software (or suddenly something goes wrong) and PTS won't make a mark. PAINT TOOL SAI ISN'T DRAWING/ AND WHERE'S THE PRESSURE SENSITIVITY? ![]() I'm writing this journal to help you guys because PTS is a useful software, and is important to many people. Due to it not being updated in a long time, many people will come across many issues with the program, especially when they buy newly released tablets. It's an art software used by digital artists to make things, and it is classified as "abandonware" since the creator long since stopped updating it. Hello guys! I'm here to write a rather helpful journal on Paint Tool Sai. Let me know if it works. And the person I recommended it too tried it, and it worked! No viruses, no bugs, and the XP-Pen service people even recommended it to the same person too! I magically found the deviantart journal while looking to see if any UC-Logic tablet people were having the same problems, and i luckily stumbled upon this! I shut down and rebooted my computer after the above steps and it WORKED! Make sure TabletCursorMode = 1 and TabletMouseSimulation= 0 Save the file. Then you go to Compatibility, and check "display scaling in high dpi settings". So what you do is:Įxit out of sai, and right click the program, go to properties. You start the program, and you'll find that while the cursor moves and there is pressure sensitivity, the cursor will be WAY off. You unzip it and put it into where ever (people recommend not putting it in the Program Files, idk). It wont interfere with the current paint tool sai that you have. So you download this english SAI (its legit i tried it and no viruses and no bugs). *BEFORE YOU READ* If you have a tablet other than a Wacom product, consider reading this comment/solution! I also updated the link. ![]()
